For some thirty years, I pursued a career in Industrial Design: the art and science of designing products that harmonize with the needs and wants of the user. During my twenty-year tenure at NCR Corporation, I directed much of the photography used for design award submissions; I believe this contributed substantially to NCR's winning more awards than any of its competitors, including IBM and Apple. Because I do not have my own studio space and equipment, I partner with the well-known Dayton-area commercial photographer Dan Patterson, thus combining his extensive expertise and resources with my knowledge of design and photography.
